CA Anti-Virus 2010
is a software product of Computer Associates that
will protect the user's PC-files from computer viruses, worms and Trojans.
It uses a combination of Email Scanning, protecting against viruses that
arrive via email, and the Real-time Scanning of your computer files when
they are opened, closed or saved to your PC.
The installation went smooth, very smooth actually, everybody can do this.
The software has a User-Friendly Interface and a low usage
of system resources. Daily, automatic Updates makes it easy to use.
Real-time scanning is also support by a heuristic scanning module
which helps detect new threats before virus protection updates are created.
Besides on-demand scanning it is possible to let your computer be scanned
on a convenient time by a scheduled scan.
As users we've found CA AntiVirus 2010 easy to use. We think it is a good
anti-virus solution at a decent price with rebates. This product is not as
overblown and resource hungry as Norton (from Symantec) and McAfee.
We also like the real time monitoring of this AV program. The update intervals
are a plus as well. CA AntiVirus Software offers the highest protection, is
affordable and easy to use. Recommended!
